THE AGRONOMIST ANSWERS ON HOW TO GROW AND CARE FOR PLANTS

MY ALOE IS OUT, SHOULD I PRUN THE FLOWER?

ELENA'S QUESTION

I wanted to know what to do once the aloe has faded, do I have to prune the flower? Should I wait for it to dry or should it be cut first?

Thank you

Elena

AGRONOM ANSWERS

Hello Elena,

once the flowers of theAloe have faded, you simply have to cut the flower stem at the base with clean scissors and possibly flame-disinfected. In the wound of the cut put a healing putty that you find from a good nurseryman to prevent it from becoming a vehicle for any parasites. That's all.

Hello and good cultivation.
